Hey guys,
I recently purchased a 3DS handheld games console, mostly so I could play Star Fox 64 3D (Which is awesome btw!) and as you have probably heard, the game line up for it SUCKS. So during my agonising wait for actual 3DS games, I have been playing some old DS games for the first time. During my foray with the console's previous generation titles I discovered a game called Solatorobo: Red the hunter.
All I can say is: CHECK IT OUT NOW! --->
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solatoro…Solatorobo is all about a world of floating islands inhabited by dog and cat people who fight with mechs. My description does it no justice. It's a beautifully realised game and truly a unique experience. There's just so much to do in the game, fighting, fishing, collecting photos, flying, racing... oh and saving the world too! Plus it's filled with interesting characters, spectacular environments and has an amazing soundtrack.
It was released in Europe a couple of months ago and will be on shelves in America by the end of this month. Those lucky enough to buy the game on its initial print run in the US will also get a soundtrack CD (lucky people, Europe gets NOTHING!) I recently aquired the Japanese collectors edition simply to obtain the awesome OST CD and art book. Just such a shame I can't read Japanese. Luckily enough the charm and beauty of Solatorobo is universal.
BUY IT NOW.
