Peregrin Frisk - Head Shot

Peregrin Frisk - Again. This is mark 3 and hopefully the final design revision for my fursona.

This took me sooo long to get right! I finally realised what I had been doing wrong all this time when drawing anthro heads. It's all a matter of perspective - quite literally. I draw my muzzles too long and make the semi-obscured eye too prominant. As such it was making the head look like it was viewed from the front and the muzzle from the side. Needless to say it was a disaster.

Anyway, with this particular piece I was trying to develop a bigger, bolder style. I wanted to use larger, pronounced shapes with a more rounded feel too them. Not so sure I'm there yet but this is by far the best effort.

EDIT: Removed the background, it didn't add anything to the image and was more distracting than anything.
